Diagnosis of anxiety will often begin with a psychological evaluation. A mental health professional will explore thoughts, feelings, and behavior which the client is associating with anxiety. The symptoms a client is experiencing can then be compared to the criteria set forth in the DSM-5, which offers points of reference for various mental health diagnoses.
Occasionally, your provider will also provide a physical exam or request a blood test to potentially rule out any other conditions that may be causing anxiety-like symptoms.
Anxiety disorders can be treated with medication, psychotherapy, or a combination of both. The best approach depends on specific factors for each individual, however the strongest research support for effective treatment is often in trials where a combination of medication and psychotherapy is implemented.
Prescriptions are fulfilled by our mail order pharmacy Health Warehouse, an accredited digital pharmacy. The medications shipped by Health Warehouse are the same medications stocked by your local pharmacy. All mail orders come with free shipping.
Please allow ten business days for prescriptions to be approved by the physician, sent to the pharmacy, and shipped to your door. Once your package leaves the pharmacy, you should receive it within 3-5 days from USPS.

Medications are only included in the "Psychiatrist + Medication Delivery" plan. This includes up to 3 generic medications if prescribed by the clinician. Prescriptions for ALL branded drugs will be sent to your local pharmacy and you are responsible for paying for those drugs through insurance or yourself. We understand things happen. If you miss an appointment, we can work with you to get you rescheduled for another available slot. However, if you miss more than two consecutive appointments, we will have to cancel your subscription without a refund as this goes directly to the providers for the time that was set apart for you.
